MHS Hockey Families:
It’s hard to believe that the high school hockey season is right around the corner. Some key pre-season requirements are coming up quickly so please take note of the following:
Medical forms need to be completed and ready to turn in on Thursday, October 5th from 4 pm – 7 pm for all players. The forms will collected in the LGI Main Building. The forms can be downloaded here:
If your player has not had a physical, the MHS coordinated physicals will take place on October 9th. This is after the Medical Form Turn-In Date. This will be a two-step process so you will still need to come to the Medical Form Turn-In Date on October 5th and again on October 9th. Players must be present for both.
Impact test is valid for 2 year (incoming freshmen and juniors take note, you will need to be tested or re-tested). As soon as we have a date from the school we will let you know.
We are in the process of scheduling the parents meeting with Coach Verney. For now, please pencil in Tuesday, October 3rd at 7 pm the meeting will take place in the Cafeteria in the Main Building.
Try-outs will start after school on Monday, November 6th. Without proper clearance, your player will not be allowed to try-out so please make sure you have everything completed.
We also tentatively scheduled the Face-Off Party (this is for parents and players) on Wednesday, November 8th
Through out the season we will communicate with you via email blast. We also update the blog, facebook and occasionally twitter.
