MHS Hockey Fans -
Before your Super Bowl festivities start we wanted to provide an update for the coming week:
Schedule: As of now we only have JV games scheduled this week. Please take note the Tuesday game is away and just added:
Sunday, 2/5 JV Practice CANCELLED
Monday, 2/6 @ 9:45 MHS JV vs. West Orange JV
Tuesday, 2/7 @ 4:15 MHS JV vs. Fair Lawn JV @ Secaucus. The bus will leave Clary Anderson at 3 pm.
We are waiting for play-off schedule to be published and we will advise as soon as we hear dates.
We need water! Junior/Senior parents, it’s your turn to help us replenish. Costco sells the squeeze top bottles for $5 a case. Please pick up and deliver to Clary as soon as possible.

We are starting to prepare for the year-end banquet on 3/21. We can use your help with collecting raffle items for the banquet. As you are running errands and dining around town, please ask the local businesses that you patronize if they will donate GC’s or merchandise. We’d like to have all the items finalized this month.
Here are some ideas of items that were a hit with the team and their families last year:
* GC’s for local lunch spots that the players frequent: Enzo’s, Nauna’s, Hot Bagels, Quick Chek, Ruthie’s. We can put together a nice lunch basket that would be popular with the players.
* GC’s to local restaurants for a night out for mom & dad and coaches
* Tickets to movies, shows, concerts, games!
* Not comfortable asking for donations? Consider partnering with another family and purchase an item to be donated. In the past we’ve had wireless beats, an apple watch, hockey sticks donated by MHS Hockey families. Items can be dropped at Nan Bylin’s house 223 Midland Avenue. Just email or text her to let her know you’ll be leaving something on her porch: nanbylin@me.com

A couple community notices that may be of interest:
* Coach Fitzhenry is actively involved with NJ Community Development Corporation. Their annual Casino Night is March 3rd. The attached documents provide the details. If you are interested in attending, or donating raffle items please let Coach Fitzhenry know.
* Non-Stop Hockey has been a consistent supporter of our MHS Hockey Team. We are excited to announce that Dave Nichols from Non-Stop Hockey has joined the Xhockey team and has conveniently relocated to the Xhockey pro shop at Floyd Hall Arena. Orlando also joined Xhockey which is great news as well. Here’s their contact information:
